Also looking to check if a CCJ is actually on a corner tenants credit file as the local court ruled in my favour in January 2019, we cannot find the tenant anywhere so has left owing in excess of £8,000.00 which almost ruined me !

How did you gain possession? Using ‘accelerated procedures’ following the issue of a Sec 21 Notice or the ‘traditional’ or ‘fault’ route following the issue of a Section 8 Notice?
I ask as if the Sec 21 route you will not have obtained a Money Order for the rent arrears. Registry Trust do not tend to register Possession Orders alone (despite the fact that a money order for the court fees of circa £355 is typically granted)
If you followed the Sec 8 route then you would have obtained a Money Order for the full arrears and this should be registered.

I’m afraid that’s not the case. We got a Money Order for over £5k following Section 8 and it was not registered. I called the Court in question to ask and was told it only gets registered once we start enforcing. It’s a joke, it should absolutely be automatic.

"Where you have used the Moneyclaim process the judgement should already have been registered so you can proceed to enforcement. If you are in any doubt you can check this via the Moneyclaim Portal where it should state that the CCJ has been 'issued'.
When using a Section 8 notice to evict, the courts do not typically register the judgement unless requested. You should contact the county court that issued the possession order to register the judgement.
Are the Courts following the rule of law or those of some lefty agenda?

Does that mea we are relying on credit referencing to check if there are CCJs etc but they aren’t being registered, so will not show? Is there no duty of care from the courts or anything? It makes credit referencing completely unreliable.

For a judgement to be registered on the CCJ register it needs to be enforced.*
Landlords have a moral responsibility to do this even if the prospects of recovery is low.
And if a tenant has no money, no assets, no job and no prospects then landlords should question their tenant selection process.

Why do you not name the ex tenant involved??
