I have a number of 1 bed and 2 bed properties in rather ‘challenging’ areas in Devon. Moreover my tenant base is very ‘interesting’! I do not get the private professional tenants and never will, I know this already.
I’m getting to the point where I am seriously considering letting another company essentially manage my properties as a job lot, they can deal with the comings and going of all the tenants, associated paperwork etc for 1 – 5 years and take the guaranteed rent.
Maybe I’m a bit glassy-eyed thinking about only the positives (no calls from suicidal tenants, no need for contact with the DWP, and some sort of work life balance etc..)
BUT ….are there any downsides?
If there is anyone else in the same position or has done this in the past I’d welcome any advice please 🙂
