AT LAST!! is what I say. I'm in. Been totally fed up with the RLA and NLA representation (or lack of it) for years but no alternative. Don't want to sound negative but after the constant drip, drip, drip of poison into every non landlords mind daily for years are we too late? Have we passed a tipping point? Im still in anyway- always ready to fight our cause.

Once again folks we need the numbers. Spread the word. Get agents who can sign up landlords. Once we have the numbers, i have already a strategy for evictions. Apart from the hoops we must jump through , we then must wait 8 to 10 weeks for a court bailiff or transfer up to the high court. This is crazy. I want the legislation amended and i dont see how anybody Labour or Conservative can object. This is simple. The courts are backlogged. It is in nobodys interest that a tenant can sit for weeks until the bailiff physically evicts him. I want legislation amended so that landlords can use certificated enforcement agents to carry out evictions. This will wipe the back log out and landlords should have their property back on the date stated on the court order. Tenants will know the exact date they must vacate and tenants will not be pursued for high court costs instead just the cost of an enforcement agent. Even the Enforcement companies benefit through volume and HMCTS do not have a waiting list which they cannot cope with. Landlords are being awarded rent arrears on court orders which is a farce, as in reality it is in many cases uncollectable. Let us stream line evictions. We are not asking for major legislative changes simply a tweak to allow us to speed up evictions after the court decrees that we are entitled to posession. No more waiting time. Where were the NLA /RLA on this. They were nowhere. This is a flavour of the kind of organisation I want us to have.

It is important that we get momentum here, there were a few high profile contributors on the 'all about property' facebook page posting about section 24 and the Labour government recently. If we can get one of them to post about this subject, it would swell the numbers. Does anyone know them personally?
