On the subject of the thread, I am just thankful that we only ever had one MX mortgage and managed to repay it on maturity. Some of the experiences of other borrowers I have read about have been horrendous and influenced our decision to pay off a Northern Rock mortgage early.

Just received by introductory letter from Rosinca/Topaz - interesting that their P.O. Box is still in Skipton. I wonder if they are operating from the same offices as MX/UKAR.........

To be fair, I think that is Computershare's address - who remain the same administrators for the new owners. It makes sense really. A bit like a landlord selling a tenanted house to another landlord and them keeping the same letting agent.
We all know they are as thick as thieves in that industry - it's well proven by now.
What we need to do is just back off for a few weeks and judge reports of any feedback from members here on their dealings and experiences with the 2 new owners.
Maybe this could start with people reporting when the first letters arrive from Jasper/Rosinca?

We have just been advised by a client that Topaz Finance Limited who are the 'owners' of both Rosinca and Jasper are named at HM Land Registry as the proprietors of their mortgage.
The date (yet to be confirmed ) when Topaz were supposed to have been registered (albeit the loan contract was with Mortgage Express) was seemingly registered in August 2006 which seems strange when Topaz was not formed until September 2006.
Also the sale was announced in March 2017 effective February 2018 so how could Mortgage Express (B&B) sell something which was already sold back in 2006?
More enquiries are pending and we will report on the outcome.

Hi - reading this thread with interest - I received my letter on Thursday (22nd) saying my transfer had been made to Rosinca Mortgages and that I didn't need to do anything as I pay by DD. I am 20% LTV with 6 years to pay off. Hope they make a special offer to pay it off and I will. It really annoys me how we are just pawns in this big finance circus. What happened to understanding your borrower!!! Maybe I am just too old.:-)

Yes received letter for the same kind of mortgages. Never had a previous issue with MX. There were immediate issues flagged at face value.
