Hi, my tenant is currently in N. Wales, single educated lady with 2 dachshunds and working as a teacher. She is moving to the Exeter/Devon area after 16 June and cannot find a property.

She has been a wonderful tenant for 3 years with no issues, which is why I am asking here if anyone can help as she is struggling to find somewhere to rent in that area.

If you have anything to rent or know of anything please can you help in the comments below.

She will happily pay deposit and contract to state carpet cleaning if she ever leaves etc (as she did with me).

thanks Neil, Bar one bad tenant in over 40 years I have been very lucky with tenants, and she has been no trouble at all so if I can help her find something suitable I would like to. I think think having 2 small dogs may not help her as I appreciate some landlords are anti dogs but not me

It might be worth her considering a local caravan site, at least for the medium term.

A decent caravan can be bought for two or three months rent, and the monthly fee shouldn't be too high.

I've suggested one to Neil.

Hi Collette

The local Devon Landlords Association offer a property required service. Something niche, two dogs, would be better advertised there than searching the normal engines.

Bradleys Estate Agents cover all the area and have a very proffesional lservice with hundreds of landlords, incl me.

Travel in and out of Exeter is a bottleneck nightmare, dont rely too much on the train either. Exmouth is popular, a "suburb" by the sea..
