General Election 8th June – Who on earth do landlords vote for?

We are asking all landlords to complete this Poll.

Oops! We could not locate your form.

We are also extremely interested in your views so please post comments.

For example, you may well despise what the Conservative Government has done and you may well mistrust them but will any other party be better?

If landlords vote for minor parties might this hand a win to Labour?

Do you think a coalition Government is likely, and if so between which parties?

Which party would you least prefer to be elected and why?

Could not voting hand this election to Labour?

I know no one has any belief in polls but...... You Gov today have Conservatives on 44% and Labour on 23% surely they can't be that wrong. I think that labour may have lost even more of their support than the tories have.

I too live in Wiltshire and your analysis is probably right. But it doesn't stop us giving them a bloody nose with a reduced majority on a seat-by-seat basis.

IF enough people think this way them the Tories might even get a big surprise, but that is what democracy is all about.

Back in 2007 when Blair handed over the reins, I wondered if Brown would be confident enough to seize the opportunity and call an election. Would he attempt to secure a strong mandate and a 5 year term rather than 3? Of course not; he bottled it and many might say "thank God".

Theresa May is made of stronger stuff. I didn't vote for the Tories in 2015 but will be doing so this year. She is a canny states(wo)man who has my respect, if not my complete trust.

Other party leaders don't come close.

I think a bit of blackmail would be good. As Gavin Barwell has such a small majority, we should flood him with emails pointing out how if he doesn't manage to bend Hammond's ear and get s24 reversed, he'll be out on HIS ear. The RLA and NLA should get to their members with this message - basically if Barwell says he's working on getting it reversed, he might get landlords' votes; if he doesn't, then he loses the votes. I think if we work out some tactics we might have a bit of leverage. Landlords here who are members of the RLA and NLA can then approach them with this suggestion. We have to think of the best ways of getting to the landlords Barwell's constituency. We should also look at other Conservative MPs in marginal seats and do some focused campaigning.

Hit the Torys in the marginals. At least we can do some damage there hopefully.

I'm sorry, I cannot bring myself to vote for this Conservative government. I am a lifelong supporter and sometime party member, but as a Thatcherite I cannot vote for a government who support a non-retroactive S24, it goes against absolutely everything I believe in. This is some way to reward people for working hard and making sure they are never state reliant.

Who will I vote for? Possibly UKIP, although I never thought I would see the day that I'd say so given the unsavoury element of the party (although on those grounds I don't think Labour would be any better). Possibly I will spoil my ballot paper.

I would not that if they made the changes retroactive I would support them. I cannot support anyone who would bankrupt people who have done nothing more than try to make themselves financially secure.

The Tories are as expendable to me as Section 24 showed we are to them...

I'd sooner rip out my own eye balls than vote for that bunch of corrupt, corporatist, small-business-bashing, mealy-mouthed, backstabbing twirps.
