Its narrative maybe does not appeal to everyone; however I feel the the slightly blue language gives humour & adds value.

As internet users in this day & age - I believe we are truly spoilt in my opinion.

Good idea Mark Great resource. Thank you for including Property Tribes.

I curated a list of all the property due diligence sites that can be used to research a property deal:

Another one I use quite a lot is a Facebook Group called "HMO - Houses Of Multiple Occupancy Network (Official)" - see https://www.facebook.com/groups/housesofmultipleoccupancy/?ref=br_tf

What an excellent idea, Mark.

..... And for award-winning BTL mortgage advice for HMO's, commercial finance, bridging finance, regulated and non regulated BTL mortgages, as well as life cover for landlords and wills and estate planning services (to name but a few!) may I suggest http://www.hdconsultants.net/awards too (all contact details via my profile as well) 🙂

Thanks.

Thanks Mark (and Vanessa) - a great idea to have these resources listed in one place.

At the risk of starting an internal thread, my main grouse with landlord forums is the insidious connection they normally have with local authorities. There are definitely constraints on the agenda; websites, newsletters etc are often controlled by the local authority (who seem to have more time to fiddle about with these things) than by local landlords. The fact that they often provide the venue for the meetings seems to entitle them more right to dictate the agenda and I know of several where council officers are present throughout all meetings. Am I the only one with this big brother paranoia?

A few more though....

National Landlords' Association - landlords.org.co.uk
Guild of Residential Landlords - landlordsguild.com
Landlords accreditation Wales - welshlandlords.org.uk
Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors rics.org/uk
Caerphilly private landlord forum - caerphillyprivatelandlords.co.uk
cardifflandlordsorg.co.uk - not working currently
