Guarantor moved, changed mobile and deleted LinkedIn?

I need to trace my Croydon tenant’s guarantor as they have moved. I believe he is still living and working in the Croydon area and, surprise surprise, after a brief email correspondence he has deleted his LinkedIn account.

His mobile number has changed too!

The Sheriffs Office are not able to trace him not even at his past address which the Letting Agents credit reference (independent company) confirmed him living at.

Anything I can do myself as I want to do a money claim against him for the arrears built up so far, s21 Notice does not expire till 14th June as well as one against the tenant.

Many thanks Judith

Hi there, I have successfully used http://www.mcatracing.co.uk/ for various traces. It's £35, they ask you a few questions prior to tracing and you only pay when they have tracked them down. They are actually called NATIONWIDE TRACING SERVICES LTD (btw I have no affiliation with them apart from being a satisfied customer on a few occasions)

I'm a repeat satisfied customer and they're on of the cheapest, No-Find, No -fee Tracing agents.
To give any tracing agent a fair chance, a landlord needs to be taking suitable information and reference checks on the Guarantor, - to be able to pass to the reference company.

The Guarantor would usually need to be a home owner with steady, long term employment if they are to satisfy the requirements of a good credit score.
