Buy to let property management software
Does anyone have any recommendations for any software to keep track of property and tenants. i.e. rents, gas checks, maintenance and all things to do with the management of the property. ![]()

Hi Nigel
A spreadsheet and a decent diary system usually suffices for most landlords.
How many properties are we talking about and are you managing purely your own as a landlord or for other people?

smartpropertymanager.com
it is really easy to use, very intuitive, and does everything it says on the tin, and the basic form, up to 10 properties, is free to use. if you want any info feel free to email me on [email protected]

I’ve heard some really good things about the Property Hawk system but have never really felt I had the need to delve into it, hence I can’t really comment. I’ve quickly Google’d it and I see it’s free so that’s a nice place to start. The link is >>> http://www.propertyhawk.co.uk/index.php?page=propertyManager

Hi Nigel, there are many software packages. “Property Portfolio Software” is available with 15% price reduction if your an NLA Member. I am aware of some NLA members who use it and they find its very good. Its worth a look at (www.propertyportfoliosoftware.co.uk). Or maybe “v-prop 656” (http://sur.ly/o/six5six.co.uk/AA001290) if budgets are tight.
