Happy to provide a bit of ironic light relief, Simon. My sense of humour is not universally appreciated. But seriously, it’s not just the EU that challenges our historic, hard-won rights; it seems to me the enemy within is as big a threat.

This is obviously a significant threat to the ability of first-time buyers to get on the property ladder, so we should all email to our MPs with the link and asking them what they are going to do about it.
