It looks to me like the worm is turning regarding the stamp duty hike anyway.

I also like the fact that on this site (unlike the BBC for example) it is not assumed that the UK = England (or even, London).

I have just eaten one of my work colleague’s two hot-crossed buns and told him I’m granting him 50% hot-crossed bun relief.

Yet for some reason he hasn’t thanked me.

Yes, take the other one as well …then bill him a third bun for having the audacity to have hot cross buns in the first place , and as such clearly depriving others of hot cross buns.

Have you all gone mad! The tax on two buns is three buns and a small drink, I know because Mr Osborne set the example.

Just for the record, so you know that I’m a fair guy…

If he’d have brought 15 or more hot-crossed buns in to work today, I’d have let him be.

Do you think coming out of the EU will hamper a possible chance of clause 24 being argued out in the European courts?

Hi Steve. We don’t think so as the timescale for gradually removing ourselves from the union is apparently two to five years.

Surely the solution is for your friend to make more hot cross buns?
