DWP address for repayment?

Hi, Does anyone have the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) address for returning overpaid rental income?

I have seen a phone number advertised, but I would much rather write to them and then be able to transfer the overpayments via bacs bank transfer to ensure my repayment goes through and have a clear record of where it went.

Many thanks

Amm

my advice - write to a partnership manager FIRST and get them to determine what they want you to do in regard to an overpayment. If they want paying back then they will tell you what do to and give you all the details.

I have had to do this twice and on both occasions THEY have emailed to say I should pay the tenant back direct. As long as they send you an email confirming what you are to do, (then of course you paperwork track all this) then there is no chance of them coming back to say you still owe an overpayment.

google search DWP partnerships and they have a list of email addresses and names per area. ALWAYS check every time you need one as they do keep changing

Ha ha great question.

I have a PROPER OFFICIAL letter from DWP. I have sold a house & DWP have replied saying there is no way a Landlord can tell DWP that they have sold a house & to please stop paying me.
This Govt & UC is a joke.

DWP kept paying me every month for a house I no longer owned.
