Hi MM. The reason I ask about the content of your letter/email to Mark Carney is because his reply is word for word identical to the reply I received only yesterday afternoon which therefore begs the question over authenticity of concern & indicates we are just being appeased.

Money Manager, I’m impressed that:
(a) you should get a reply and
(b) that it was specifically addressing the points you raised rather than being of standard format.
He has dodged the taxation aspect-placing that responsibility squarely on the Chancellor’s shoulders but I believe they are probably both acting in collusion behind the scenes since the Chancellor’s proposed changes will affect the housing market and more importantly the credit market. This latter effect will be of particular interest to Mr Carney!
