Hi Ros
I have contacted the Chartered Institute of Taxation - asking them if this proposal is workable - as they said they are involved in the implementation of the Policy - not in the Policy itself. I got an automated reply saying they will reply within 2/3 days - will let you know what they say

Anyone thought about putting their views across on the lbc money hour (Clive bull) on Mondays 9pm...I imagine you'd see an immediate affect on petition response numbers

Thanks so much Connie. I have now sent the CEO of Martin and Co an email regarding the fact that their next newsletter needs to cover this issue. I have also urged him to circulate the link to the property118 e-petition thread to all his letting agents and their contacts.

Martin & co head office is bournemouth.

Hard to find a head office email address on their site.

The only ones I have found are not totally appropriate, but beggars can't be choosers:
-- careers@martinco.com
-- propertyfranchise@martinco.com

Interestingly the address I found on their site doffers from the one you found in your 20:45 post

Which college is he at? I'm an Oxford Alumna.

To answer my own question: Oriel, which I have no connections with and Said Business School, which didn't exist in my day.

I have a couple of properties with them Barry and I emailed them at their head office yesterday with the link to the petition and asking them if they could publicise it among their clients.

I was going to send the Q & As list as well but I couldn't find it. Could anyone tell me if there is an easy way to find it without trawling through hundreds of pages?

Thanks

Its this apathy & I am alright Jack that allows to powers to be to use & abuse the people of the Country. This kind of abuse could never be tolerated in France, Spain or Italy.
