When will H M Government wake up?

With the current and ongoing exodus of private landlords exiting the PRS sector due to over-regulation and duplicated legislation, this considerable increase in residential property seemingly flooding the market for sale, thus creating overcompetition, clearly has had the knock-on effect of price reductions for residential sales.

When will H M Government wake up and realise that what now seems like the ever-increasing falls in property prices due to the PRS landlord persecution can only lead to negative equity for the relatively new mortgaged home buyers that have not yet built up equity in their property?

Remember where this led to some years ago!

It all seems forgotten now. The repossessions and the turmoil in the market that was only good for cash-rich buyers.

Not good for the poor homeowners who suffered, and not good for the banks trying to claw back as much as possible of what they had lent out, but only to recoup a much smaller amount following a much reduced distressed sale price,s together with the whole host of fees involved with a distressed repossession sale.

The horse will not only have left the stable but probably emigrated before any government will acknowledge exactly who left the stable door open.
