Time between N5B form and Court Case?
Hi to my fellow members, ![]()
I have just sent my first ever N5B form today (fingers crossed!) and was wondering on average how long will it take for the court to send the claim to the tenants?
Thanks
Sanjay

Very specific question Sanjay, but the answer will be vary dependent on the Court that you are using – particularly if it is a London court which can take significantly longer according to their backlog. Take a look here and it gives an idea on timing: http://www.propertyhawk.co.uk/?section-21-process which may be of help.

If you want a real life story, here is a record of a case I did a couple of years ago. The whole process took about 3 1/2 months from start to gettng the tenant out
