Hello, my flat which I let out, is in a block of 15. As leaseholders, we applied and got RTM. Even though no other buildings are on the land, which now has a separate title, the landlord charges out for gardens.
The landlord has now decided to charge £200 every 2 years to register tenant information and £75 if the tenant changes within the 2 years. Is this reasonable for the ‘going rate’?
Grateful for your comments,
Nev

Tenant fees are to do with Letting Agents I believe and not freeholders.

The Tenant Fees Act certainly applies to PRS landlords as well as letting agents. Although a freehold landlord of leasehold flats is still a landlord, we will probably have to wait for a test case for the answer to whether the TFA applies to them

Would be a defining case. Leaseholders are only ‘renting’ for a defined term, pay ground ‘rent’, and become subject to the same laws as renters when that ground rent exceeds £259/£1000.
