Hello, I tried to evict a tenant in 2022 and got a possession order asking the tenant to leave on 1st December 2022. Got bailiffs involved but we cancelled the bailiffs as the tenants paid the majority of the debt.
Now the tenant has not finished paying the old debt, but we agreed to let them continue living at the property. They have not missed any rent payments this year but still have the outstanding, can I evict them by sending bailiffs again?
Thanks,
Mira

“we agreed to let them continue living at the property”
It sounds like you have already created a new tenancy with these same tenants. The repossession order was for the old tenancy. I think you will have to start again.
