Great letter, I would like to emphasise the singling out of encumbered private Landlords vs corporate/unencumbered Landlords, as being uncompetitive, especially as they are already paying tax at 40/45% on their profits already.
Where are you intending to get it published? (other than here)

Anyone got a list of the committee members and their e-mail addresses so we can submit directly to them

I was speaking to my Mortgage Broker and he has told me that, around 88% of Landlords voted for Brexit as they were so annoyed with George Osborne policies. So if my calculation is right this equates to 1.88 Million (1 Million 8 Hundred and eighty eight thousand) and they lost by 1.7 million votes.
So, if Osborne kept landlords happier, he would have been in job so would Cameron and most importantly the country would not have been led to Brexit.
Never underestimate the power of small army of Landlords.

Sorry I meant to say anti-competitive not uncompetitive
Also Leadsom owns properties through a company so will benefit from the the PRS being hammered.

Barry, since you seem clued up. Do you think George Osborne will keep his job under May’s leadership?

Thanks Barry. I left out the discrimination point (which is a very valid one of course), figuring that Leadsom might be a corporate landlord with very little debt! But hopefully it won’t make her a fan of Osborne’s. If I ever get a reply, I will report back.
I am not sure which other sites to post it on. Might put it on the UPAD site and Landlord Zone. Any suggestions, let me know.

I just read on Independent it might be Philip Hammonds who becomes a Chancellor. He has some BTL properties.

@Simon
I’ve no crystal ball unfortunately. And I don’t know what the relationship between May & Osborne is like, or if May would prefer the continuity over everything else.
But given Osborne’s extreme Remain campaigning he’s hardly going to be seen as a unifying force, but he is a conniving and manipulative s**t. So I’ve no doubt he’s been working overtime sucking up to May.
