In that case you cause offence accidentally.
I never wrote once, never mind repeatedly, that “having void period will cause landlords to pay more taxes.” I challenge you to produce it or retract your claim.

Yes, I would question the validity of most online polls. As you may realise there are a lot of exceptionally manipulative people out there in internet land?
You write: ‘I would be no more surprised than you if a couple of regulars from that other forum have voted. Maybe even more than once.’
I would actually be very surprised if those ‘ couple of regulars’ you mention did NOT ‘vote’ at least 500 times each.
I would like to think that the govt are savvy enough to realise the dirty tricks that some characters from your other forum repeatedly get up to in the interest of ‘levelling the playing field’?

Mark, I agree, that, it is not couple of regulars, there is big whole army who has been anti-landlords.
