I will never run another legal action campaign again. It is a ridiculous amount of work but when the time comes for people to put their money where there mouth is there are suddenly no people! Take a look at the BoI thread, I sacrificed a year of my free time on that legal campaign and for what?
I’m happy to lobby for something I’m passionate about and I’m happy to work with others who share the same goals. However, when it comes to organising a legal campaign, been there, done that, lost the tee-shirt.
I might feel different if/when we win the case against Wedt Brom next April.

‘No mention of this stupid change in the general election manifesto’, people say.
Oh yes it was mentioned in the election campain

Fast forward to 4:20 in the timeline of this car crash interview with Natalie Bennet, Green Party nutter.

(See 2 mins in)
The Green Party fielded more candidtates then at any other election and yet their manifesto was completely rejected by the electorate.
So what does it make George Osborne if he lifts policies from this sort of nutter who got a complete drubbing by the electroate???

I’m not convinced this was lifted from the Greens.
This left leaning Conservative MP was spouting about it before then;

Conservative MP, Charlie Elphicke is cited in the FT as one member of parliament saying this new data is sufficient for ministers to call a halt to buy to let tax perks such as wear and tear allowance and relief on mortgage interest.
Note that is all mortgage interest.

I always remember a director of a timber frame company saying
In America if you do well they slap you on the back in England they knife you.

Just to rephrase what you said, they only knife you here if you have done well in a single generation. Remember, the super mega wealthy such as the Duke of Westminster pay nothing extra as a result of all this. These landed gentry have it all in trusts and passes from generation to generation untouched by tax. George Osborne will never touch these guys as his own personal wealth is also in trusts from his familes wallpaper business.

Zac Goldsmith MP for conservative is running a campaign on tackling housing issues and he is interested to hear any views. (Please see his facebook page).
As he is contemplating to become Mayor of London, getting involved with him could potentially pay dividends as he has 100 and thousands of supporters and particularly, he is running a campaign.
I believe, we should strike whilst iron is hot. Let me have your thoughts?
Ros/Connie, all correspondence you have been sending to others may be well worthwhile to forward to Zac Goldsmith.
