    Can everyone check if any of the following are your MP? In which case, can you write to them, specifically asking them to bring the issue up at Committee? If you’re not sure what to write, let me know and I’ll draw up an email. It might be worth a try as the 1922 Committee is supposed to have some influence:

    As of 3 June 2015, the full 1922 committee membership comprised:

    Chairman: Graham Brady
    Vice Chairmen: Cheryl Gillan
    Charles Walker
    Secretaries: Bob Blackman
    Nigel Evans
    Treasurer: Stewart Jackson
    Executive Members:: Steve Baker
    Simon Burns
    David Burrowes
    James Cleverly
    Geoffrey Clifton-Brown
    Simon Hart
    Bernard Jenkin
    Jason McCartney
    Karl McCartney
    Antoinette Sandbach
    Andrew Turner
    Bill Wiggin

    Done the changes and Gary says he’ll try and do something about the text, or at least he did after making wise cracks about age and eyesight.

    I’ve just emailed the SUN with details of Say No To George and the numbers behind how many could end up homeless because of the proposed tax change.

    Might have to buy a copy if they print it. Never thought I’d be doing that!

    Gary has darkened the text. I’ve updated a lot of the pages but still have more to go.

    Hi John

    Yes, that’s a good point about being pushed into a higher tax band.

    Hi John

    I have seen the changes to the text but I have not noticed any difference in its colour.

    @CJCox

    “I think it means all property because it was in the investor section “.

    I beg to differ on this one. Many people who have never lived/or been ordinary resident have properties here.

    They pay the withholding tax.

    A number of my friends when they were students in UK bought properties & kept it until their children was coming here for studies. They sold the property in order to finance their off springs education.

    HMRC can ask was the property rented before becoming non resident..
