I agreed with every word … until "The country has had enough of its politicians – mainly Labour, naturally – conveniently forgetting to follow the rules then apologising and getting away with it." What a short memory the LC must...

Well I guess there would be a requirement to write an honest reference, so ... some tenants might prefer we don't HAVE to provide one

So are you suggesting that the Tories who, after all, initiated this determined assault on private landlords over the past 14 years understood this?? I'm not thrilled that the Labour Party aren't actively undoing the harm the Tories did, but...

Anyone describing SIR Keir Starmer's government as a communist one cannot have been watching what's going on. His government couldn't even be described as a socialist one - it's simply a pale-ish blue version of the last shower who started...

We only have 3 BTL's, but they too will all be sold as tenants leave. I would like to make the point tho' that the RRB is not actually a Labour policy or idea since the whole thing was started...

My husband and I have been small portfolio landlords since 2007 - and since we retired from our full time careers in 2015, we are down to just 4 properties - 3 of which will not easily achieve a C EPC rating.
Our tenants are all long term, cause us no issues (fingers firmly crossed) and are sitting on rental levels that are CONSIDERABLY below the market rate in our town ... but because of the above we will probably sell 3 of the 4 whenever they next become vacant.
