Eviction process and confusion over who is at the property?
I have been granted an eviction order on my property for breeches of contract all relating to non payment. Tenants are a couple with two young children however he is the only name on contract and she is a named tenant.
Five days to go until the vacation date and I sent them both a text suggesting I take possession of the keys at a time of their choosing to ensure the property isn’t left unattended and any damage done by others.
She is now saying he no longer lives there and it’s not enough time to move out and intends to seek advice. I’m aware that if they don’t vacate I have to apply for a warrant but was hoping to avoid them being removed from the house and they would go of their own accord. I’m starting to get the impression this is not going to be as easy as I thought,or is it just a formality?
At this late stage in the day can she change the ruling or is it done?
Any advice greatly appreciated.

If, for example, the court said that they must vacate on the 25th, then that doesn’t mean they have to vacate. Sometimes people do, but other times they know they can stay quite a bit longer. I’m not sure what stage you’re at, but the word ‘bailiff’ springs to mind.
