Should I invest in Great Yarmouth or is it too likely to flood?

I am new in the property investments but I would like to ask for the opinion of the more experienced landlords. I am planning to buy my first BTL I own a property already which is my main residence in Great Yarmouth that’s where I live now.

I am wondering where to buy my BTL obviously there is a lot of pros and cons in buying in the same town of your residence . I am worried because people constantly are saying different stuff about global warming and how the east coast of UK will be flooded and how Norfolk will vanish in future because it will be flooded.

Are all these things true and do you believe that Norfolk-Great Yarmouth and many towns in the area are at risk to go completely under water in future. I am investing in properties and I would like to leave them one day for my kids and that’s why I am worried.

Do you think that it is a good idea to purchase Great Yarmouth ? I live there myself and have never been flooded.

Thanks for your advices and support

Dan
