The PRS needs landlords’ views to be heard. Your responses will help identify areas of most concern in the Renters’ Reform Bill and White Paper providing evidence pinpointing the consequences of these reforms if passed unchecked. Click here

Ben Beadle, Chief Executive of the National Residential Landlords Association, said:

“The Government’s planned reforms to the rental market represent the biggest set of changes to the PRS for over 30 years. Amidst a supply crisis, and with many tenants struggling to access the homes they need, it is vital that the Renters’ Reform Bill, whenever it is published, enjoys the confidence of responsible landlords to provide the homes to rent that are needed.

“Our survey provides an important opportunity for landlords to have their say and to share what changes they feel are needed to the Government’s proposals.”

Your views are especially welcome on:

  • Which parts of the proposed reforms threaten the private rented sector?
  • Which parts could landlords live with?
  • What will be the impact of these reforms on the sector?
  • Which specific parts of the sector are most at risk?
  • Do those businesses which support landlords (accountants, property management companies, letting agents) have similar fears about the impact of these wide-ranging proposals?

This NRLA consultation will take around 25-30 minutes to complete.

Landlords who complete the consultation/survey are able to enter into a draw for some John Lewis vouchers (worth £200).
