Threats from tenant after serving section 21

Two previous agents did not manage my flat effectively, no inspections were carried out for the past 7 yrs. The Flat got mould which I have now cleaned off after deciding to self manage.

Since taking over the management tenant has become very intimidating to myself and contractors that have been repairing the damages.

The tenant made a final threat that I would never get my flat back and if I do he would make sure I’ve suffered first.

The tenant warned me never to contact him again!

Problem is I still have work that needs doing in the flat.

I would advise not to get involved and ask for help from the industry experts Paul Shamplina and his team at Landlord Action >> https://www.property118.com/evicting-tenants/

Good advice from Neil, and keep a diary of all threats to yourself and contractors.

This will be valuable evidence, I'd also report threats to the police and make sure they log them.

Can i just add that i instructed a process server to serve the section 21. I paid for him to also give me a copy of the notice plus the certificate for serving but since he delivered the notice on 18 December 2019 he is avoiding giving me the documents. I suspect that he was buying time so that he can process the possession order which he had said would cost me 795gbp. I tried to call the process server numerous times sent lots of emails and sent him a signed for letter with a return prepaid addressed envelope but still he has not sent me the documents that i paid for. In addition i paid him 300 gbp for him to help process a claim against the agents that mismanaged my property and its been 4 weeks since i paid him and he has not provided any evidence of letters sent to agents or any work done on the case.
The process server said he feels harassed by me calling and emailing him regularly and he will now close my case to which he will send all my documents back. He said i would receive my refund and documents with in 48 hrs. He said this on Thursday and to date i have not received any correspondence or refund from him.
Sadly i needed a copy of the notice plus the certificate in order to process the possession order on 19 February.
All responses are greatly appreciated.

I strongly suggest you take heed of the advice already given and hand over this mess to a recognised professional such as Paul Shamplina's team.
