Putting your home address on Labour’s public Landlord Database?

I, having left the PRS, would not be putting my home address on Labour’s ill-thought-out and honestly quite dangerous publicly accessible Landlords Database. Even more so, as it would appear when no longer a PRS landlord, you cannot be removed.
Yes, tenants have, as legally required, an address for their PRS Landlord if the landlord is self-managing. But prospective tenants do not, nor does the general public or media.
Personally, I’m looking forward to the first court case brought by a landlord (for themselves AND their family members) with the possible defences of:
a breach of ECHR and HR Acts (Article 8),
Protection From Harassment Act (s4);
Crime and Disorder Act (s32);
Criminal Justice Act 1988/2003 (s39). There are others.
For not complying, i.e giving their home address on Labour’s public PRS Landlords Database.
I doubt if the NRLA will be doing anything, though they should IF, as they claim, they support PRS landlords and lobby MPs on their behalf and taking substantial sums of money from many PRS landlords.

You do not have to have your home address noted at Companies House for Ltd Directors.

That’s fine for current tenants, but not for prospective tenants, for the general public or the media

Happily my address is registered as the local garage for all of my property and non property businesses. This is where post is delivered to

While the majority of tenants are normal, over the years there will be one that is not normal but weird, aggressive and plain crazy. It’s statistics. You don’t want that one “to know where ypu live*. Tenats are not in the same position as landlords at all in this. It won’t be long in this insane country before landlords have to wear a patch in the form of a star on their clothes. I absolutely do not want my details to be public, other than my company or office address. I don’t want my personal mobile number or email out there either, too much aggressive marketing as it is !
