Between 6pm and 8pm you will see 10 second advertisements sponsored by This is their initial pilot into TV advertising since the successful completion of their £250,000 Crowd Funding last month.

The TV advertising campaigns will extend to more mainstream channels next month with both 10 second buffer advertisements and full 30 second adverts.

The pilot 10 second buffer advertisement features a golfer shouting “FORE” and with a voice over message “ – managing rental properties for only 4%”

The founders of are proud to have backed two and a half years ago by taking a 26% share in the start up venture. They manage our property portfolio’s and work with hundreds of Property118 readers. 100% of the Crowd Funding of came from Property118 readers too.

We wish Property TV equal levels of success, the channel is exclusively and uncompromisingly focused on property related content and provides the viewer with a great mix of entertainment, educational and aspirational content including properties currently being marketed, renovation, DIY property news and current affairs programmes which will be featured throughout the daily broadcasting schedule. Hi Mark,
I admit I'm a bit of a pedant, but golfers shout FORE. I cringe every time I read queries and comments on the 118 site with basic errors of spelling, grammar, words misused, etc. It detracts from the pleasure of reading and trying to assimilate articles' content, and tends to detract from their message through sheer lack of professionalism. Is there any way in which they may be edited to correct these errors? It would transform the manner in which 118 is perceived.

PS. I shall still have a look at Channel 238 tonight...........J

Golfers do shout "Fore" but this is a pun; it refers to the four per cent deal and can therefore be spelled either way. In any case in the advertisement it will be heard and not read so it won't matter.

Hi John

Sorry about that, as you might guess, I don't play golf despite the fact that using the services of gives me plenty of time to do so. (sorry, I could resist that plug).

Instead of playing golf I choose to spend my time on Property118.

I have used some of this time to correct the typo you kindly pointed out 😀
