Private address required for HMO Licence!
I’m applying for a HMO licence and the council officer is insisting we give our private residence address but I’m not happy to give this information. I’m not comfortable with my tenants knowing where I live. ![]()
I have given my office address but he says this is not acceptable.
Does anyone know the law on this?
Thanks
John

Possibly dealt with elsewhere on another thread
but where do I (as a licence holder( stand with the fact there is a public register of licences. The public register also features my home address.
Anyone can search the register and see exactly where I live.
Is there any way in which I can take this information out of the public domain?
