Hi, there is an opportunity for me to make a ground floor flat totally wheelchair friendly. Install wider doorways, flush flooring, lowered worktops in kitchen etc and wheel in bathroom/wet room.
There will be an off road level car park space at the front and a private outdoor space off the lounge at the back (sliding doors). Perfect for disabled yet still fully independent person. The second bedroom is available for a carer if needed.
With little similar on the market to rent, I’m struggling to determine what market rent might be and where to advertise too. Do I private rent or lease long term to a care provider that caters for this type of specific need?
Anyone done similar??
Thanks,
Reluctant landlord
