Limited Company Mortgages With NO PERSONAL GUARANTEES!Make Text Bigger
I think this could be absolutely massive …. a UK Building Society offering BTL mortgages to Limited Companies with ‘No Personal Guarantees’ and on interest only terms.
Granted, the maximum LTV is only 55% and the interest rates are not earth-shatteringly marvelous, but nevertheless I think this could open up a huge market for more mature portfolio operators and landlords interested in a variety of tax planning including IHT, exit strategies etc.
Just think, with no Personal Guarantees on finance being in place it may be possible to sell the shares in a property investment company without the financing being redeemed.
