I'm very happy to help. I'm a full time landlord and have been for 20 years. My properties are in London and rents/demand have fallen dramatically in my areas. I've no experience with evictions but plenty with all other aspects of the affects of covid if that helps

We are happy to share our experience too. Our long term tenant, who has been with us around 8 years, she fallen into £3000 areas last year way before COVID 19, we still allowed her to stay over Christmas, she promised to move out in January, but never did, we started the process of eviction in February. But She is still in our house with arears of £14000 and protected by the Government at least till 11 of Jan 2021. We as Landlords been completely neglected and let down by the system.

Ive written to my MP and Robert Jenrick but no reply from him. Its about time the media delivered to the public, the truth that we massively affected too.

I've been through one nasty eviction and just on a 2nd. Just remember that final rental losses will escalate far more than the first 6 months that the S12 or S8 needs. Think of the backlog in the courts April next year? A difficult eviction can take 6-9 month from the start of court action. With court backlog, I suspect the legal eviction time will double to say 18 months plus the 6 months S21/S8 time. If your tenant has stopped paying rent, you could be looking at housing someone for free for 2 years.
