It is a good news for landlords that were missing rent of 9 month prior to 23/03/2020, what about us, our lady was in areas of 4.5 month which is £5600, is that not bad enough, that we have to pay the mortgage for some one who is taking advantage of the situation, there are 3 adults in their household who are working and doing 0 afford to pay any rent at all. Also she was receiving Housing benefits and pocketing it, which means she actually was at the profit, while my husband lost his job and we have to continue paying the mortgage for their free accommodation. She is in £12827.55 areas and by Jan 2021 it will be £15274.55 + all solicitor`s fees we have to pay too. what about our welfare. my wife is sufferings anxiety, cannot sleep at night all this is caused of Government decision. We are happy to share our experience too. Our long term tenant, who has been with us around 8 years, she fallen into £3000 areas last year way before COVID 19, we still allowed her to stay over Christmas, she promised to move out in January, but never did, we started the process of eviction in February. But She is still in our house with arears of £14000 and protected by the Government at least till 11 of Jan 2021. We as Landlords been completely neglected and let down by the system.... Read More
