Buy or Sell Tenanted Property – Improved Search Functionality

When you search for properties for sale via our tenanted property portal you will now get even better results. Improved Search Functionality

The first thing you might notice is that every property listed now has details of the cheapest available buy to let mortgage displayed, together with the monthly interest only cost. This links through to a full quotation system and best buys table.

The second improvement is that when you search for properties in a certain Town/City/Postcode you will now be shown all advertisements in the UK, with the closest to your search results being displayed first. These search results are broken into two sections, premium listings being at the top (to keep those who pay us to advertise happy first) and then free listings in the second section. Remember to scroll through all listings because there may be properties in your area further down the page, i.e. free adverts. Displaying listings on this basis also creates a much bigger incentive for advertisers to pay the £11.80 a week that we charge to upgrade their advertisement to a premium listing.

Our Tenanted Property For-Sale Portal is located on our home-page, to get there simply click on our logo (top left of every page).

Thank you to all members who continue to post feedback on how we can improve further, if you have any other suggestions please post them in the comments section below.

Thanks Mark, I really like the new system it helps to get a good over view of what is happening throughout the country and buyers such as me are not just looking for one area

I am not sure if I am missing something but I can only see premium listings.

Keep scrolling down.

Roughly how many premium listings can you see and what happens when you can't scroll any more please?

I'd like to run the same search as you to see whether I get the same results.

What Town, City, Postcode did you search please?

I have entered Grantham as the area and get about 60 premium listings starting with Essex, then 15 miles from Grantham, then all over the country. When I can't scroll anymore there is no other option to click.

OK, I've done the same search.

It appeared as expected for me.

Premium listings have a premium banner across the picture, free listing have no such banner.

The first free listing I saw was in Grantham.

Please look again and report back.

If I enter Grantham as the search then the listings are still the same without any non premium properties. If I enter Shefield as the search then after the premium listings I get the non premium listings by distance which does include Grantham. Could this possibly be due to the fact that the Grantham property is my listing?

Good question - I honestly don't know!

I saw the Grantham property at the top of the free listings so if you didn't then your suggestion has merits. However, that wasn't part of the web-design spec.
