Hello, I want to send in the N325 via the online system – I have a court order and the tenant should move out on 18th October but I know he won’t, so I have to get the bailiffs in. I want to get this application set up even though I cannot send it until 19th.
Having logged in successfully via the PCOL, I am near the end of setting this up and have got to the part ‘payment history’. There are four boxes to fill in with cash sums and on the right-hand side there are instructions, but try as I may, I cannot move forward because, for some reason, I am not putting in the correct amounts.
To explain a little, the tenant used to pay £400, and I increased it in June to £695. However, the tenant is still paying £400 per month; thus, the arrears are £295 x 5 (months) amount to £1,475. I’ve tried all kinds of figures, but nothing works.
I have to say that I have never had any trouble with submitting various docs before, but this has beaten me (so far!!) If someone could talk me through this, I would be very grateful.
Thanks in advance,
Marie

I always leave this blank as it seems to have no relavence once the court order for possession has been obtained. The order for possessiom may contain the financial details you need but since the tenant will not have the means to pay then it really does not matter. Be thankful that you are getting your property back.

Thank you for your assistance, much appreciated. I will try what you have suggested.
Please note though, you cannot and should not assume that the tenant has no means of paying, he is working and up to now is paying the rent even though it is not the full amount (I raised it in May when I realised he was not going to go easily, he’s not paying the increase, hence the arrears). Also, I have not got the property back yet!! And it is going to cost me another long wait and quite a bit of money.
Best regards.

Sorry I asssumed that your tenant was like most of mine who default with little or no resources with which to make payment.

Your advice worked!! I moved straight past that page and now I can go ahead and pay, even though it pains me to do so. Have to wait until 19th, though.
Many thanks
