Help calculating rents?
Hi, I’m looking for software to help calculate the rents. It doesn’t need to be anything fancy, and I would prefer simplicity over bells and whistles.
For years I have used a simple checklist XL spreadsheet and then as a backup used a freelancer who uses CFP (professional rental software). However I would now like to take control of this completely myself and so am looking for something that will help.
I would appreciate your thoughts.
Sam

Hi Sam,
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what calculations exactly are you looking for?

I’m looking for software that calculates the rent due every month and creates arrears lists. If a tenant loses a job and goes to benefits for e.g. the payments change, this means the income may fluctuate and thus the amounts need to be recorded.

Still can’t see why you can’t do the job on a spreadsheet.
