BuytoLet Mortgage Calculator Update

The BuytoLet Mortgage Calculator has recently had every product and lender listed checked and updated. From my observations doing this on a regular basis I can tell which direction the BuytoLet mortgage market is heading in.

As an overview of the last 3 months Variable and Tracker rate mortgages available seem to have decreased in rate on average by 0.2%. Fixed rates are now being listed at similar levels, but with a reduction in arrangement fees by as much as 1%.

Loan to values are still attainable at 80% and with one lender 85%.

A 25 year fixed rate product is still available

Subject to fairly strict criteria and circumstances it is increasingly possible to remortgage inside 6 months.

The free BuytoLet mortgage calculator it will show you what products are available based on your description of the property, the amount you want to borrow and personal circumstances. It will not only show you what is available at the amount you requested, but also the maximums you can borrow.

The Mortgage Calculator will then show details of:

  • The interest rate
  • Summary of the Product
  • Maximum Loan to Value
  • Early Repayment Charges
  • Product costs and  fees
  • The amount per £1 rent pcm you can borrow
  • Give you the option of a quote on the Loan requested or maximum you could borrow
  • Minimum monthly rental assessment
  • Yield (i.e. annual rental income expressed as a percentage of property value)
  • Rental Return on Equity Invested (net of mortgage costs)
