Would you object to the phrase being used to describe the activities of Housing Associations or councils? Do you not like the words ‘poor people’? Would you prefer a euphemism? Perhaps you could elucidate rather than play silly b***ers?

I don’t object to the phrase at all. I am surprised to see it used in a letter intended to garner support from that recipient. My judgment is that it will lessen the chance of achieving that aim quite considerably.

Educated some other LLs and would be LLs about the legislation & it’s very far reaching impact on unincorporated, leveraged property investment.
Maybe I flatter myself by thinking I gave some of them a bit more time than they would otherwise have had to act to mitigate the impact.
