Whilst we have a planning system wholly geared to saying No and planning officers who are being educated to say No there is no hope of any government matching annual housing demand nevermind years of under development.
The numbers have never added up. The city council are very obviously funding other unconnected jobs with income from Selective Licensing. One thing they clearly aren't spending it on is the necessary improvement of their own dilapidated housing.
Is there any organisation out there that could collate all the S21 applications over the past 5 year or more and create an anonymous poll of these landlords to quantify the real reason for the use of the S21 option...
