Being assertive with HMRC about MTD exemption?

Hi everyone,

After my first request to be exempt from MTD (Making Tax Digital) was denied, I was irked and I appealed.

I spoke ‘from the heart’, my utter frustration and anxiety came through without insulting anyone and I am happy to say I have now been exempted due to my age, not ever having had any IT training in my whole life, the anxiety of not understanding IT, and if I was forced to participate there is no way I am going to be held responsible for any error made from using a system I don’t understand!

So happily, after waiting for at least 10 weeks for the reply, to my appeal, the response arrived last Saturday, and I’m framing it, copying it, scanning it and saving it.
