Complaining about Universal Credit?

Hello, I’m just wondering if any landlord on here has had any success with a complaint against the shambolic way that U/C operates regarding tenant arrears and APA?

I’m getting nowhere with the helpline!?

They don’t even advise on the complaints process, if there even is one, such as who to contact next. I have permission to discuss a claim given by tenant but they still insist data protection will be breached if they do???

Anyone with experience in this area?

Thanks,

Helen

You can put your claim in of your tenant is 8 weeks in arrears. As to complaints they barely respond to claimants complaints so we have no chance. S21 and start again

try contacting a partnership manager directly with your issue to see if they can help first and then you have an in road..

As for complaining – no point. Term everything as you are trying to HELP the tenant and you might get somewhere – remind them they have a duty to prevent homelessness and secure a tenants accommodation ….
