Having typed this question into Google I couldn’t find the answer so I thought I’d start a thread here. Maybe I should have called it “battle of the sexes” but I doubt that would rank highly in search results if others have a similar question.
So do men or women make the best landlords and letting agents?
Here’s a few controversial questions to get you started.
Why does the NLA have a “Property Woman of the Year Award” but nothing similar for men?
Why is it that most male landlords leave it to their wives to deal with letting agents, accounts and all the paperwork? Could it be that women are more organised than men and far more capable of multi tasking or do they have better multitasking skills or more time on their hands?
How many women can fix a leaking tap or reach high enough to change a light bulb?
Do men have the same intuition as women when it comes to selecting tenants?
Do women go OTT on decor and cleaning?
Let’s really get this debate going by posting lots more questions and answers.
It is intended to be a bit of fun of course so please don’t take it too seriously.
Every day, landlords who want to influence policy and share real-world experience add their voice here. Your perspective helps keep the debate balanced.

That wasn’t the question Mark !
But now that you’ve raised the question …..!
OCD comes in a complete sectrum, and people who just think they are very tidy and particular are displaying OCD traits, but it doesn’t hinder their life, it actually helps them to be better people.
….OCD definitely helps in business, otherwise you’ll make mistakes and not even realise since you didn’t bother to check youre work.
I would imagine Accountants are mostly ALL OCD, apart from the ones that are rubbish at it.
………Men.
In my experience women ask one question but mean another, and answer a question that wasn’t even asked.

Haha,
Well Mark, perhaps it’s her attention to detail that you like so much about her.
