Welcome to our Letting section

All landlords need three things from their tenants:-Property Letting & Management Checklist

  1. Rent paid on time
  2. Respect for the property
  3. Respect for the neighbours

Whether you are new to the rental sector, established and managing your own rental property portfolio or using a letting agent the linked articles below will help you to minimise your risks and maximise your returns.

If you are going to use the services of an agent to let and/or manage your properties the two most important things to check are:-

  1. They are currently a member of ARLA, UKALA, NALS or RICS (re-check this every three months)
  2. They have valid Client Money Protection and Professional indemnity insurance policies (re-check this every three months)

A good letting agent will save you time and money. The founder of Property118.com has a significant property portfolio and nearly three decades of experience. He still uses the services of letting agents to let and manage his properties!
