What does the upcoming election mean for landlords? With a Labour majority in the polls it looks increasingly likely that they will be taking office soon, so how could a new Labour government change the landscape for Landlords?

However, you never know! The Conservatives are starting to turn things around so maybe they will cling on. Either way, we discuss the pros and cons of what either party may, or may not do, in this informative discussion on the new Good Landlording podcast.

This week we are joined by a legal expert, David Smith, who specialises in property litigation and is close to what is happening at the sharp end!

The podcast is available on all the ususal podcast apps under ‘Good Landlording‘, hosted by Richard Jackson of Alphaletz and Suzanne Smith from the Independent Landlord.

I’ve been watching the Post Office Inquiry and it tells me that some legal experts should not be held in such high regard.

The chance of the Conservatives holding on to power is negligee.

I think it’s either Labour or a Labour-led coalition on 4th July.

Someone on another forum suggested that Angela Rayner might be able to ban section 21 asap due to emergency legislation that is still in place because of COVID
