EPCs (bane of my life) and Energy Suppliers (also bane of my life)?
We have a vacant flat with a very low EPC (G!), in which we want to install high heat retention storage heaters.
Good idea? No, not when British Gas is only making emergency engineer appointments and cannot give me a date for the installation of an Off-Peak Meter.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so, have they found an alternative energy supplier who has got sufficient engineers to undertake this work?
Many thanks
Bridget

Sorry, copied the link from the latest version published by an Accreditation Scheme. As I said, some are better at keeping these updated than others.
We are now up to version 11.3 it would appear which contains a number of minor amendments.

Even dealing with them all the time you rely on being told new updates are issued and, particularly during COVID, that just hasn’t been happening. How they are produced is an even less transparent process full of vested interests.

Anyone would think we weren’t supposed to be able to find out what’s going on……….is EPC assessment one of the dark arts?
