Entryphone system – permission needed?

Hello, A friend of mine lives in a block of three flats. The communal front door does not have any locking system which seems unbelievable to me these days.

She and one of the other owners would like an entryphone system fitted for security reasons. The third owner is against the idea but doesn’t say why but is adamant that without her agreement a system can’t be fitted.

Before she takes the matter up with the Management Company, I wondered if anyone else had encountered this.

Thanks,

Adrian

All it would take is for the third tenant to subvert the entryphone system (eg jamming the door open, or giving out the code to all and sundry) so without them on board, it looks like a lost cause.
