My Mum is 60 and has a small mortgage of around £57K on an £800K property.
She has retired with only a small income, and has said that she would find it comforting if I could add my name onto the mortgage.
How easily and what steps would be involved in doing so and can anyone advise of the pros and cons please.
Also, should we expect any reluctance on the part of the existing lender?
