Court hearing date Aug 2022?

Hi, I waited for over a year for a hearing date to recover possession from my ex-tenant with arrears.
Originally the hearing date was last week, but the Judge was ‘busy’ so I’ve been given an adjourned hearing date of August 2022 at Medway County Court!
Is this the timeline experienced by others due to the backlog?

Yes, not tenant-related, but the same delays in Dartford Family Court Small Claims track. The claim made a year ago, hearing was meant to be in January 2021 then moved to September 2021 and now adjourned for 8 September 2022 and I don’t have much hope it will take place then.
