Consequential Losses Claims Against West Bromwich Mortgage Company
As a result of the success of the campaign against the West Bromwich Mortgage Company we have had enquiries regarding losses caused by the unlawfully demanded repayments, which the repayments of overcharges do not compensate for.
Capital and income losses that we can seek compensation for include-
- LPA receiverships arising from failure to pay the unlawful demands
- Loss of rent if property became unlet as a result of LPA recievership
- Forced or distressed sales at undervalues to repay the loans
- Inability to deploy funds to invest in portfolio expansion (contemporaneous evidence of missed opportunities needed)
- Cost of refinancing at interest rate above the true WB rate but below the unlawful demands
- Bank charges and penalties
- Insolvency
Cotswold Barristers and Property118 Action Group will examine all such applications from lifetime members only, and will bring risk-free proceedings against WBMC in approved cases.
If you are already a lifetime member of Property118 Action Group please email details of your consequential losses to [email protected] and cc to [email protected]
If you wish make a claim but you are NOT already a lifetime member of Property118 Action Group please see below.

I will dig out the exact dates and work out the timeline illustrating why we sold one of the 2 our properties which were mortgaged using WBBS Tracker Mortgages.
I think the sale completed a few days ahead of the judgement, or maybe 2 or 3 days after it (but at any any rate the sale was long agreed and property had been vacant for months by then)

Hi I am looking for some help and advice with my West Brom BTL. I have only recently realised that I think I may have been overcharged. They have never contacted me but did attempt to repossess the property in 2017/2018. Can you please send me details of the Legal firm you used so i can contact them please? Kind Regards Sara
